Cascades
Located in West Sacramento, Cascades was built under the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program and is a popular source of affordable housing in proximity to the state’s capital. The property offers a unique array of amenities for residents— including two swimming pools and a community garden— and is a short drive to several large employers including Mather Airport, Mather Hospital, and California State University, among others.
Belveron’s investment in Cascades allowed for capital improvements including electrical upgrades, common area improvements, HVAC repairs, and exterior enhancements while maintaining rent restrictions at 60% AMI and 50% AMI. A new property management team and funding for social services was also instituted.
